To Start Again

Updated: Dec 10, 2018

This poem was written thanks to a poetry workshop exercise from Jan Owen. Poems with "fabric" somehow incorporated were suggested as the springboard. See Richard Wilbur's "Love Calls Us to the Things of This World" and Rosemary Dobson's "5 Folding the Sheets". Both are wonderful sources of inspiration.

I read the story about Ike going on strike and standing up for what mattered to him, and it reminded me how saying no can make a big difference. I felt heavy with school once and thought I might have to pay to take my exam just to get some peace, but that made me see how important it is to understand what you learn before you go forward.

This post about Ike going on strike explained things in a simple way and made me see how small actions can matter a lot. It reminded me of a time when I had a confusing lab assignment and needed Best Online Lab Help just to get through it. That experience showed me that having support when you’re stuck can make difficult tasks much easier to handle. your post makes me happy and motivated.

I enjoyed reading this piece and how the poem gently explores identity and inner feelings in such a simple but deep way. It reminded me of a class activity where we wrote about ourselves, and during that time I used online course takers to keep up with my tasks while I focused on writing better. Moments like this show how writing helps us understand who we are and grow with honesty.
